Doyon Commercial Bakery Equipment

Established by Gustave Doyon in 1950, Doyon Equipment Inc. started as a sales and repair business for bakery equipment. In the mid 1970’s we began manufacturing our own line of equipment. We then developed equipment for export in the 1980’s.

During this time, Doyon has expanded our line of products in order to satisfy more customers. From the small Jet Air JAOP3 oven, which can produce 45 baguette pans in 45 minutes, to the large JA28 oven which can produce 420 per hour, we were able to design and develop equipment to meet the expanding needs of the market.

Thanks to the creation of Jet Air, an exclusive integrated system of a reversible fan for ovens and proofers, Doyon developed a line of equipment that produced a superior baked product.

In addition to selling all different kinds of oven models, the company added the manufacture of bakery accessories such as proofers, mixers, racks, sheeters, work tables, bread pans, and more.

In 1990, Doyon blazed into the restaurant market with the PIZ3 pizza oven that uses our Jet Air technology. Due to demand, we added the larger PIZ6.

In 1991, we became one of the rare companies to sell in the Russian market, with the delivery of 54 integrated bakeries in Leningrad. In the following five years, we introduced Doyon Equipment products in many countries such as; United States, Russia, Mexico, France, Germany, Cameron, Egypt, Romania and South Korea.

In 2009, The Middleby Corporation acquired Doyon Equipment Inc. thereby strengthening both their leadership positions in bakery equipment. Shortly following the acquisition, Doyon Equipment, Inc. merged with NU-VU Foodservice Systems, becoming the Bakery Equipment Division of Middleby.
